Cha and ‘Abba’I have to say, having spent some time now married to my Lisu family, that one very beautiful tradition of theirs stands out the most to me.  When a member of the tribe has fallen ill with any type of sickness, from a broken leg to a common house cold, many members of the family, friends come together to ‘be’ and simply hold space with that person until they are healed, or better.  Entire families will spend the night in hospital rooms with a sick person, or many Lisu’s will gather in that person’s house helping to cook, clean, and sleep close to that person throughout the healing period.

My conclusion from all of this is: the power of intention is very real, and very powerful.  When a group collective gets together with the intention of selflessly giving their time, energy, and prayers towards helping others, its speeds up the recovery process, not too mention is feels damn good!  From both sides, it is liberating to hold space for the sick, and nothing feels better than having people around in honor of you when your not feeling well.

…Can you feel ‘relative time’ slipping away? There is no such thing, there never was. We are only Here and Now, in this moment, waiting for the next moment. Life is a series of moments, so because it’s Tuesday, or at least we believe it is I want to thank Everyone, I want to thank God, I want to thank Mind, the Creator, whatever you believe.

There is a higher power out there, different Faiths call it different things, it’s inside of You and Me. We are all the same, all connected. I am thankful that you are in my life, I am grateful for today, it is truly the only time we have.  We must constantly remember to be thankful, don’t only remind yourself, but let’s help remind each other.

Be kind to one another, after you reach the highest mountain the only thing left at the top is Compassion. That is why the Great Masters say “Love one another”, “there is only Love”, “God is Love”, or “You are That which you seek”. It’s all the same. We start with the appearance of differences, but in the End we are left with ‘Sameness’.

May you All be Happy, May you All be Free from pain and suffering, diseases and illness. Keep in mind that We are on the same planet, we’re all floating down river together and all rivers empty out into the sea. We will get there together to the “abyss of Oneness”. Thank You for being in my life, I am proud to have known you all, you are all characters in the Movie of My life, and I am a character in yours. We manifest each other, we animate each other, and its because of this that we are useful in each other’s lives.
