champion juicerEating what’s in season seems to be one of the healthiest ways to live. In a world where different diets are constantly being invented and ‘re-invented’, simply eating what’s available and grown locally is far more profound than most of the diets out there. Raw food ism, Vegetarianism, Macrobiotics, etc… too many “ism’s”, the list goes on. Everyone has something to say about what’s “the most healthy way…” to eat and live.

Having been a “food fascist” myself I’m proud to say that I’ve come out the other side of extreme eating conditions only to realize that having a balanced diet means having a balanced lifestyle. Remain in the middle of extremes, does this not hold true in all areas of life? Why should it be any different when talking about our food choices?

Juicing is profound, my Mom is back in Thailand this year and each year she usually brings some ‘hard to find’ object from the West. This year it was a tall order Champion Home Juicer still one of the best home juicers on the market if not “The Best” You can do everything with a Champion, from making fresh juices, pates, dips, baby foods, nut butters, this machine is truly amazing. Juicing is a great way to stay healthy, without going to extremes. Get more fresh juice! Don’t worry about buying too much produce the next time you’re at the market, whatever doesn’t get used can go right into the juicer. I am fortunate enough to live in Thailand, a country where open air produce markets are open all hours of the day. Juicing is a great way to stay fit, especially in the hot season when you just don’t feel like eating solid foods all the time. Fresh juice also helps give our digestive system a chance to rest, so drink it up!
